Dr. Arie Marcovich

Dr. Arie Markovitz is a graduate of the Medical faculty of the Technion, Haifa, Israel. He completed his internship at the Opthalmology Unit at  Kaplan Hospital, Rehovot, Israel. Subsequently, he completed his Post Doctoral Fellowship at UFT University in Toronto,Canada, specializing in Corneal surgeries and the anterior part of the eyes. During his residence in Canada he accumulated an abundance of experience in the field of Corneal and Cataract surgeries.

Upon return to Israel. Dr, Markovitz became the director of the Corneal and outer diseases of the eyes clinic for Kaplan Hospital as well as the director of the corneal transplantation unit. Having acquired  vast experience in the field of refractive laser surgery, cataract and corneal surgeries, Dr. Markovitz furthermore investigates and researches topics related to these areas of Opthalmology. Moreover, he lectures at scientific conventions worldwide and in Israel.

Dr. Markovitz is presently the directive administrator of the Israeli Physician's Corneal Foundation. In the past, he was a participant on the supervisory committee of the Israeli Cataract Society.
