A graduate of Ben Gurion University located in Beer Sheva, Israel, Dr. Mahler completed his internship in Ophthalmology at Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot, Israel. Today he is a senior ophthalmologist at 'Assaf Harofe' hospital.
Furthermore, Dr. Mahler had his fellowship at the Gimbel medical center, Canada, which is one of the leading centers in the field of cataract and laser surgeries in the world. There he acquired the experience and knowledge up to date in the field of cataract, Intra ocular lens transplantation, Refraction laser surgeries, Wave front technology and additional surgeries in the field of anterior segment.
Dr. Mahler practices refractive cataract surgeries, which enable to remove the cataract and to diminish the need for glasses through advanced lens transplantation.

Dr. Mahler is a member of the Israeli Ophthalmic Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmologists, and the American Association for Cataract Surgeons. He mentors medical students seeking to specialize in Ophthalmology.
